philadelphia & the Fed

I’m in Philadelphia today, the photo is the view from my hotel room when I arrived at 10 pm last night.
Right now, I’m sitting in a room full of people from the Federal Reserve. I just did my keynote on “new technology” for their WEDGE conference. I spent my flight here getting all of my notes into my deck, which I promptly ignored during my presentation. Whatever – I was as prepared and rested as I could be for getting in at 10pm and addressing the crowd at 9am.
Headed to Brooklyn this afternoon – Adam got me interested in the Acela service, so I’ll be taking the train to Penn Station. I’ve got a few things I’m really looking forward to, Spoonbill and Sugartown and Frankie’s, specifically.
More notes from the road later.

Hey,
I was in the audience during your keynote at the Federal Reserve conference. I think I picked up from reading this blog that it was your first official such presentation in your job at Adaptive Path. It surely didn’t come off that way. It was a great, informative presentation and was well received by everyone I’ve spoken to since then. Thanks.
Wow. Christine, thank you. I enjoyed the opportunity to come and address the WEDGE conference – I had a blast, and I’m glad you liked what I had to say. I look forward to the opportunity to do it again. Cheers.
